MAIN TRAFFIC


M8/TIPPERARY
  The M8 Cork/Dublin Rd is closed northbound from J12 Mitchelstown North to J11 Cahir South until 6pm this Fri (18th). Diversions are in place via the Mitchelstown/Cahir Rd (Old N8/R668) through Kilroe.

M6/WESTMEATH
  The eastbound on and off ramps at J10 Ballymahon on the N6 Athlone Bypass are closed on Thurs (17th) to facilitate works. Diversions are in place via J9 Garrycastle.

WICKLOW
  A stop/go system operates on the N11 Dublin/Wexford Rd between Jack Whites and the Arklow Bypass from 8am to 6pm each day until Mon 28th May. Expect delays. Bear in mind, mobile lane closures are in place both ways on the N11 between the Beehive Pub and Delgany from 8am to 6pm until mid-June. Expect delays.

WICKLOW
  Bridge works are in place northbound on the M11 Wexford/Dublin Rd until 4am on Thurs 17th May. As a result of these works the M11 is reduced to one lane northbound from Glenview to the Bray South exit. Expect delays.

GALWAY
  No delays or incidents reported in Galway City.

CORK
  No delays or incidents reported in Cork City.

LIMERICK
  No delays or incidents reported in Limerick City.

WATERFORD
  No delays or incidents reported in Waterford City.

EVENTS


KILKENNY
  On Thurs 17th May, racing will take place at Gowran Park Racecourse, Co. Kilkenny. The first race is at 5:40pm and the last race is at 8:40pm. Extra traffic can be expected in the area before and after the races.

TIPPERARY
  On Thurs 17th May, the National Agricultural Farm Machinery Show will take place at Gurteen Agricultural College from 10am until 5pm. Up to 12,000 people are expected to attend. Large volumes of traffic should be expected on the N52 Borrisokane/Birr Rd and on the N65 Borrisokane/Portumna Rd between 9am and 7:30pm. ROADWORKS


M1/LOUTH
  Works are in place on the M1 Belfast/Dublin Rd southbound at J13 Dunleer North and northbound at J14 Ardee until 4:30am Thurs 17th May. Traffic is reduced to one lane southbound at J13 and northbound at J14. Take care on approach.

ROSCOMMON
  The N61 Roscommon/Boyle Rd is closed for bridge works at Castleland until Fri 22nd June. Diversions are in place and motorists should allow extra time for their journey.

CORK
  The N25 South Ring Rd in Cork City is in the process of being renamed the N40 South Ring Rd and should be completed by mid September. The N40 will run between the Dunkettle Interchange where the N8 Dublin Rd and N25 Waterford Rd meet through to the N22 Killarney Rd at Poulavone.
