Dublin Summary Report

MAIN TRAFFIC


  Traffic lights have been switched off for works at the Alfie Byrne Rd/East Wall Rd Jct. Take care on approach.
  No issues for M50 traffic in either direction.
  No problems for Dublin City traffic.

EVENTS


  Just 4 Kids Show is on at the RDS until Sun (26th). Today, the show will run from 10am until 8pm and on Sun from 10am until 6pm.
  Leinster will play Ulster in the Pro 12 Final at the RDS Arena. Kick off is at 4:45pm.
  For both RDS events, delays can be expected through Ballsbridge and Sandymount; on Anglesea Rd, Simmonscourt Rd, Shelbourne Rd and Pembroke Rd. However, the heaviest traffic is likely on Merrion Rd.
  The Calcutta Run is taking place in Dublin City and in the Phoenix Park. this morning To facilitate the race, Serpentine Rd, Back Rd, Islandbridge Gate Rd, Cabra Gate and Chapelizod Gate are closed until 1pm. Wellington Rd is also closed until 1pm. Traffic will be halted at the following locations: St Mary’s Rd and Serpentine Rd, Chesterfield Ave/Wellington Rd, Mountjoy Cross and there will be no left turn at the Ashtown Gate. Chesterfield Ave from Phoenix to Mountjoy R/A will be opened for the duration of the event. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.

ROADWORKS


  Traffic management will operate on Ballyedmonduff Rd at Cannon’s Corner until Sun 2nd June from 8am to 6pm daily. Diversion route in operation via Burrow Rd/Enniskerry Road/Blackglen Rd. Dublin Bus access will be maintained at all times during works.
  Grafton St is closed between the jct of South King St & Chatham St for works until Wed 28th Aug. Diversions will be in place. Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained.
  Major weekend works take place on Chesterfield Ave in the Phoenix Park until Sun 29th Sept. Mountjoy Gate will be closed up to the Phoenix Monument each weekend from 9pm Friday until 9pm Sunday with the exception of the August Bank Holiday where the closure will operate from Fri 26th at 9pm until 9pm Mon 29th July.
