You need to be confident that you are making the right choice. AA Autocheck was launched to give Consumers this confidence. AA Autocheck, a used car programme sets stringent standards for the preparation and presentation of used cars.
In effect, AA Autocheck is a quality assurance scheme. Participating dealers undertake to perform a detailed examination of their "for sale" cars under 101 separate inspection headings. AA Engineers then audit dealers regularly to ensure standards are being enforced.
This programme provides customers with independent reassurance, AA peace of mind and confidence in buying a used car.
Participating dealers will check for the following:
- Bodywork and Paint
- Brakes
- Interior
- Lighting Equipment
- Seatsbelts/ Airbags
- Steering & Suspension
- Wheels and Tyres
- Underbonnet ( engine)
- Under Vehicle Checks
- Road Test
- Final Checks
