Can I have my vehicle serviced anywhere with AA Car Servicing?

We can service your vehicle at home or at work, providing you have your employer's permission for work to be carried out on their premises and that the site is suitable. Currently this service is available in the greater Dublin and surrounding areas.

How long is my estimate valid for?

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the AA Car Servicing estimate remains valid for 14 days from the date of the estimate.

When can I get my car serviced

AA Service & Repair is available seven days a week from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm (excluding Christmas Day, St. Stephens Day and New Year's Day) and is subject to availability.

Is AA Car Servicing cheaper than our local garage?

Our prices are very competitive and reflect the quality of service provided. We cannot always guarantee to be the cheapest, but we will only complete work that is actually required and authorised by you.

Are new parts covered by a warranty?

All parts and labour provided by AA Car Servicing are warranted for 12 months or 20,000 km (whichever is earlier).

What happens if my car requires repair work/extra work, other than service related items?

Our mobile technicians will investigate any fault found in your vehicle, and confirm if a part needs to be replaced or repaired. We will provide a price for the repair before doing any work - you can then choose to continue (if applicable re safety), or have the work carried out at a later date.

Will you stamp my service book?

Yes. We recognise how important it is for motorists to be able to record in a recognised manner how and when the car has been maintained

Will the parts used satisfy my manufacturer's standards?

All our parts are genuine approved parts to original equipment (OE) standards and are covered by a 12 month guarantee.
Our Full Service includes an extensive range of checks that exceed most manufacturers' service schedule requirements. We only use manufacturer’s specified grades of oil and parts which are to original equipment (OE) standards.

What are the differences between Interim and Full Services?

The Interim Service is designed typically for high mileage vehicles or for when your manufacturer recommends regular checks. The Interim Service includes oil and filter change as well as a comprehensive vehicle health check.
The Full Service includes an extensive range of checks and includes the replacement of engine oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs/diesel filter as appropriate.

Will the technician be able to reset my service light?

We will ensure that your service light is reset the manufacturers recommended service intervals as appropriate.

What happens if I'm not happy with the work?

All repair work carried out under AA Car Servicing includes a full warranty for 20,000 km or 12 months (whichever is sooner). If you do have a concern over the work carried out, please call the AA Car Servicing team who will be happy to assist.
