National Summary Report
*MAIN TRAFFIC*
*LONGFORD* Works are in place on the N4 Sligo/Dublin Rd between Longford and Newtownforbes until Wed 29th Feb. Single lane traffic is in operation.
*CARLOW* Major works are taking place at the roundabout joining the N80 Carlow/Portlaoise Rd and Hacketstown Rd (R726) until Wed 29th Feb. Long delays are expected.
*CITY TRAFFIC*
*CORK* Traffic is moving well in Cork City at present.
*GALWAY* No major problems for traffic in Galway City.
* Bear in mind major works continue on Seamus Quirke Rd and Bishop O'Donnell Rd (R338) until the end of March.
*LIMERICK* No major delays or incidents to report in Limerick City traffic.
*WATERFORD* Traffic is moving well in Waterford City.
*DUBLIN* See 'Dublin Summary'.
*EVENTS*
*MEATH* Racing is underway at Fairyhouse Racecourse. The last race is at 4:45pm. Delays are likely in the area after the races.
* There will be a number of games on in Round 1 of the National Football League today; with throw in at 7pm.
*LAOIS* Laois will play Mayo at the Portlaoise GAA grounds. Extra traffic can be expected through Portlaoise Town.
*ANTRIM* Antrim will play Sligo at Casement Park. Expect extra traffic around the stadium before and after the event.
*DOWN* Down will play Donegal at Páirc Esler in Newry. Expect extra volumes on the A2 and A1 before and after the match.
