MAIN TRAFFIC


MEATH
  A stop/go system will operate in Clonee on the Clonee/Lucan Rd (R149) until 5:30pm. This is to facilitate the removal of trees.

TIPPERARY
  From 6pm this evening the level crossing at Kilsheelan (R706) will close for works until Tues 21st May at 6pm. Diversions will operate via the Kilheffernan R/A.

CLARE
  The local road from Gregan’s Castle/Corkscrew Hill to its jct at Donnyvarden is closed until 6pm.

CITY TRAFFIC


CORK
  Moving well in Cork City at this time.
  Middle Glanmire Rd is closed between Lovers Walk and Leycester’s Lane until 1pm for works.

LIMERICK
  Traffic is light at this point in Limerick City.

GALWAY
  No significant delays for traffic in Galway City.
  A Park & Ride Service is being piloted in Galway until November 2013 at which time it will be reviewed. This service operates from Galway Airport to the Galway Coach Station at the Fairgreen. For more information, see Galway Park & Ride'

WATERFORD
  No major delays in Waterford City for traffic.

EVENTS


DOWN
  Down will play Derry in the Christy Ring Quarter Final at Páirc Esler, Newry later. Throw in is at 3pm. Páirc Esler, Newry is located on the A2 Warrenpoint Rd at Ballinacraig Way. Expect extra volumes on the A2 and A1 before and after the match.

CARLOW
  Carlow will play London in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship at Dr Cullen Park later. Throw in is at 3pm. Extra traffic can be expected in the area around the stadium before and after the match.

LAOIS
  Laois will play Antrim in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship in Portlaoise. Throw in is at 7pm.

WEXFORD
  Racing will take place at Wexford Racecourse today. The first race is at 2:10pm and the last race is at 5:30pm. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.

ROADWORKS


ROSCOMMON
  Works are in place on the N5 Westport/Longford Rd from Frenchpark to Bellangare from 8am to 6pm until Mon 27th May.

WICKLOW
  A stop/go system operates from 9:30am to 7pm each day on Main St (R761), Bray until Tues 4th June as part of works until Oct.
