MAIN TRAFFIC


KILKENNY
  Traffic lights are out of action at The Parade in Kilkenny City and are expected to for the rest of the day. Motorists are urged to take care on approach.

LAOIS
  A stop/go system is in place on the Mountrath/Kinnity Rd (R440) approx. 4km from Mountrath until 8pm. Expect some delays.

CITY TRAFFIC


CORK
  Cork City traffic is moving well at this time.

GALWAY
  No delays or incidents to report for Galway City traffic.

LIMERICK
  No major delays to report for Limerick City traffic.

WATERFORD
  Waterford City traffic is moving well.

EVENTS


SLIGO
  Racing is underway at Sligo Racecourse with the last race at 8:40pm. Sligo Racecourse is located at Cleveragh, 1km from Sligo town centre just off the Pearse Road. Expect extra traffic in the area before and after the event. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.

ROADWORKS


WESTMEATH
  Works operate on the Mullingar/Athlone Rd (R390) from 8am to 5pm until this Friday (24th).

MEATH
  The N3 Dublin/Cavan Rd is closed both ways from the Derver R/A to Drumbaragh R/A in Kells until Mon 3rd June. Diversions are in place via the R147 (Old N3).

N72/CORK
  A stop/go system will be in place 24/7 in Fermoy on the N72 Fermoy/Mallow Rd until Mon 15th July between the Hospital and the Richmond Hill/Patrick St jct. Long delays are expected.
