MAIN TRAFFIC


MEATH
  The Kilcock/Kinnegad Rd (Old N4/R148) is blocked by a jack-knifed truck west of Enfield. Gardai are diverting traffic.

FERMANAGH
  The G8 Summit has concluded in Enniskillen however security measures remain in place. Keep in mind that the A46 Enniskillen/Lough Shore Rd will remain closed from the Belleek side of Magheradunbar jct to Carrickreagh until Wed 26th June to facilitate the removal of security fencing.

CORK
  A stop/go system is in place 24/7 in Fermoy on the N72 Fermoy/Mallow Rd until approx. Sept. Works operate between the Hospital and the Richmond Hill/Patrick St jct.

CITY TRAFFIC


LIMERICK
  Very heavy traffic this mornning both ways on O'Connell Avenue, particularly on approach to works on Punches Cross. Then busy on Condell Rd inbound onto the Dock Rd outbound. Slow on Roches St at the traffic lights approaching Henry St. Also busy inbound on Saint Nessan's Rd coming onto the South Ring Rd and also on the N24/Ballysimon Rd.
  The annual Solemn Novena takes place at the Redemptorist Church on the South Circular Rd until Sat 22nd June. There are ten sessions each day at 7am, 8am, 10am, 11:30am, 1:10pm, 4:30pm, 6pm, 7:30pm, 9pm and 10:30pm. Large numbers are expected to attend each day.

CORK
  Slow inbound on Dublin Rd approaching the Dunkettle Interchange. Busy eastbound on the South Ring Rd from Bandon Rd to Sarsfield Rd.

GALWAY
  Galway City traffic is slow on the N17/Tuam Rd as motorists approach the Tuam Rd Jct.
  Today and tomorrow (Thurs 20th) the Galway/Monivea Rd (R339) will close for works from 8am to 6pm each day between Coosaun Cross and Monivea.

WATERFORD
  There are delays approaching the works on the Quay between Clock Tower and Exchange St. Works will be in place there until Fri 19th July.


ROADWORKS


WEXFORD
  A stop/go system will operate on the N30 New Ross/Enniscorthy Rd between Tomduff and Tomnalossett. Works will be in place from 8am to 6pm daily until Wed 10th July approx and delays are to be expected.

KILKENNY
  A stop/go system will operate on the N78 Kilkenny/Castlecomer Rd from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day until Fri 28th June. Works will move along this stretch of road during this period.

GALWAY
  A slow moving road survey will be carried out along the N59 Moycullen Rd daily until this Friday (21st). Traffic management will be in place although no significant delays are expected.

WESTMEATH
  Hall’s Bridge in Athlone is closed for emergency repair works until 6pm Wed 19th June. Divert via Magazine Rd.

WICKLOW
  Works are in place on Main St (R761) in Bray at the Quinnsborough Rd jct and are part of roadworks continuing until Oct.

EVENTS


WEXFORD
  Racing will take place at Wexford Racecourse. The first race is at 6pm and the last race is at 9pm. Wexford Racecourse is located on the Newtown Rd just outside Wexford Town. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.
