TRAVEL

There are some delays to flights into and out of Amsterdam Airport this morning due to low visibility. Check with your airline's website for updates.

MAIN TRAFFIC

M1/MEATH
Mobile right lane closures will be in place on the M1 Dublin/Belfast Rd both ways between J7 Julianstown and J8 Duleek from 9:30am to 4pm. The works will start northbound and then will travel south.

SLIGO
Temporary traffic lights will operate in Ballygawley Village for works until Wed 22nd May. Works will be located at the jct of the Ballygawley/Ballintogher Rd (R290) and Sligo/Ballygawley Rd (R284).

GALWAY
Works take place at the following locations until Wed 22nd: on N18 Oranmore Rd between the Dublin Rd R/A and Carrowmoneash R/A, the N17 Galway/Sligo Rd between Tuam and the Corrofin Rd and on the N84/Headford Rd between Headford and Shrule.

TIPPERARY
The level crossing at Kilsheelan (R706) is closed for works until Tuesday (21st). Diversions operate via the Kilheffernan R/A.

CITY TRAFFIC

CORK
Bishopstown Rd is blocked outbound between Hawkes Rd and Waterfall Rd as emergency services deal with a vehicle that was involved in an earlier crash. There are delays in the area.
Otherwise, traffic is starting to ease on most routes at this stage.

GALWAY
Still busy on the N17 through Claregalway, slow on Bothar na dTreabh from the Tuam Rd Jct to the Headford Rd. Busy inbound on Well park Rd, on the Dublin Rd and on Lwr Newcastle Rd.
Works take place at the Forster St/College Rd jct until approx 2pm.

LIMERICK
Earlier delays beginning to ease in Limerick.

WATERFORD
Moving well in Waterford City.

EVENTS

TIPPERARY
An Post Rás Stage 3 gets underway in Nenagh at 11am and will bring participants through Doon, Crecore, Rathkeale and Athea before finishing up in Listowel. Motorists are advised to be extra vigilant on approach. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.

ROADWORKS

N72/CORK
A stop/go system will be in place 24/7 in Fermoy on the N72 Fermoy/Mallow Rd until Mon 15th July between the Hospital and the Richmond Hill/Patrick St Jct. Long delays are expected.

MEATH
The N3 Dublin/Cavan Rd is closed both ways from the Derver R/A to Drumbaragh R/A in Kells until Mon 3rd June. Diversions are in place via the R147 (Old N3).

WESTMEATH
Works operate on the Mullingar/Athlone Rd (R390) from 8am to 5pm until this Friday (24th).

KILDARE
Works take place on the Enfield/Kinnegad Rd (R148) at Moyvalley from 8am to 6pm daily until Fri (24th).

CLARE
Limerick Rd (R463), Killaloe will close between Clarisford Rd and Ardclooney from 8am to 6pm each day until Thursday (23rd). Diversions will be in place.

OFFALY
The Portarlington Rd (R420) in Tullamore will be closed from 7am to 7pm today and tomorrow (Wed 22nd) from the Hop Hill R/A to the jct of Church Rd. Motorists are advised to take the Clonminch Rd (R443) or the Daingean Rd.

ROSCOMMON
Works are in place on the N5 Westport/Longford Rd from Frenchpark to Bellangare from 8am to 6pm until Mon 27th May.

N2/MONAGHAN
The N2 Derry/Dublin Rd is closed southbound from Tydavnet jct to Tirnaneill between Monaghan Town and Emyvale until Fri 19th July. HGVs should divert at Aughnacloy to Armagh and rejoin the N2 at Monaghan Town. Expect delays.

WEXFORD
Traffic management is in operation on the Gorey/Clogh Rd (R772 old N11) just south of Gorey from 8am to 6pm each day until Friday (24th).
