MAIN TRAFFIC


CORK CITY
  Commons Rd in Farranree has now reopened following a crash. Diversions have been lifted.
  Xpose Live takes place at the Silversprings Hotel in the City until Sun 26th May. The show runs until 6pm today and from 10am until 6pm on Sunday. Delays are likely on the Lwr Glanmire Rd and around Tivoli itself.

N72/CORK

  A stop/go system will be in place 24/7 in Fermoy on the N72 Fermoy/Mallow Rd until Mon 15th July between the Hospital and the Richmond Hill/Patrick St jct. Long delays are expected.

CORK

  The All Ireland and International Sheep Shearing Championship takes place in Millstreet until Sun (26th). Events take place today until approx 9pm and on Sun from 8am until 6pm. Large crowds are expected to attend each day and delays are likely.

WATERFORD

  Traffic is busy around Tramore as people head to the beach to enjoy the good weather.

LIMERICK
  No delays for Limerick City traffic.

GALWAY

  Busy on the N84 Headford Rd and on Sean Mulvoy Rd approaching the Bodkin R/A due to works in the area.

WATERFORD

  Moving well in Waterford City.


EVENTS

  Participants in Stage 7 of An Post Rás are now entering Laragh. They will then travel through Hollywood before finishing up in Naas at approx 2pm. Motorists are advised to be extra vigilant on approach and to expect delays.
KERRY
  Kerry play Kildare in the Christy Ring Cup Semi Final at Austin Stack Park in Tralee at 3pm. Extra traffic can be expected around the grounds before and after the match.

MEATH

  Meath play Down in the Christy Ring Cup Semi Final in Trim, with throw in at 3pm. Extra traffic can be expected around the grounds before and after the match.



KILDARE

  The Guineas Spring Racing Festival takes place at the Curragh Racecourse until Sun (26th). Large crowds are expected today for the Irish 2000 Guineas, with the Gold Cup and Ladies Cup on Sunday. Today, the first race is at 1:45pm and the last race is at 5:30pm. On Sun, the first race is at 1:45pm and the last race is at 5:35pm. The Curragh is located just off the M7 between Newbridge (J12) and Kildare Town (J13).

LIMERICK

  Limerick play Cork in the Munster Senior Football Championship Quarter Final at the Gaelic Grounds. Throw in is at 7pm. Expect delays on the main Ennis Rd and Northern Ring Rd – M7 Limerick/Dublin Rd and in the area around the stadium. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.
