MAIN TRAFFIC

N72/CORK
From Mon 20th May until Mon 15th July, a stop/go system will be in place 24/7 in Fermoy on the N72 Fermoy/Mallow Rd. Works will operate between the Hospital and the Richmond Hill/Patrick St Jct. Long delays are expected.

TIPPERARY
The level crossing at Kilsheelan (R706) is closed for works until Tuesday (21st). Diversions operate via the Kilheffernan R/A.

KILDARE
From Mon 20th to Friday 24th May works will take place on the Enfield/Kinnegad Rd (R148) at Moyvalley. The works will be in place from 8am to 6pm.

MEATH
From Mon 20th May until Mon 3rd June, the N3/Cavan Rd will close both ways from the Derver R/A to Drumbaragh R/A in Kells. Works will be in place 24/7. Diversions will be in place via the R147 (Old N3).

WESTMEATH
From Mon 20th to Fri 24th May, works will operate on the Mullingar/Athlone Rd (R390) from 8am to 5pm daily.

CITY TRAFFIC

CORK
No problems for Cork City traffic.
From Mon 20th to Wed 22nd May, works take place on Sarsfield Rd from 9:30am to 4pm.
From Mon 20th to Wed 22nd May, from 7:30pm to 11pm, works take place on Anglesea St, Waterfall Rd and Douglas Rd.
From Mon 20th to Wed 22nd May, Grattan St will close northbound each night from 7:30pm to midnight from Sheares St jct.
From Mon 20th to Fri 24th May, works will take place at the Anglesea St/South Terrace jct.

GALWAY
No delays in Galway City at this time.

LIMERICK
No delays for Limerick City traffic.
Major works take place between Ballinacurra Rd and Punches Cross (R526) until Jan 2014. These works are likely to cause delays from Monday to Friday between 8am-9am and 4:30pm-6pm.

WATERFORD
Moving well in Waterford City.

KILKENNY
High St in Kilkenny City will close overnight for works from 6pm to 2am until Fri 31st May. It will be closed Monday to Thursdays only.

EVENTS

LONGFORD
On Mon 20th May, Stage 2 of An Post Rás gets underway in Longford Town and will bring participants through Lanesborough, Ballygar, Ballinasloe, Portumna and Terryglass before finishing up in Nenagh.

ROSCOMMON
On Mon 20th May, racing will take place at Roscommon Racecourse. The first race is at 6pm and the last race is at 9pm. Expect extra traffic in the area before and after the event. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.

ROADWORKS

CLARE
From Mon 20th to Thurs 23rd May, Limerick Rd (R463 in Killaloe will close between Clarisford Rd and Ardclooney from 8am to 6pm. Diversions will be in place.

OFFALY
From Mon 20th to Wed 22nd May, the Tullamore/Portarlington Rd (R420) will close in Tullamore from 7am to 7pm. It will close from the Hop Hill R/A to the jct of Church Rd. Motorists are advised to enter/exit Tullamore via the Clonminch Rd (R443) or the Daingean Rd.

ROSCOMMON
Works are in place on the N5 Westport/Longford Rd from Frenchpark to Bellangare from 8am to 6pm until Mon 27th May.

N2/MONAGHAN
The N2 Derry/Dublin Rd is closed southbound from Tydavnet Jct to Tirnaneill between Monaghan Town and Emyvale until Fri 19th July. HGVs should divert at Aughnacloy to Armagh and rejoin the N2 at Monaghan Town. Expect delays.

WEXFORD
Traffic management is in operation on the Gorey/Clogh Rd (R772 old N11) until Fri 24th May. Works will be in place just south of Gorey from 8am to 6pm.
