MAIN TRAFFIC


MEATH/LONGFORD
  Stage 1 of An Post Rás gets underway in Dunboyne. Participants will make their way through Summerhill, Trim, Crossakeel, Virginia and Granard before finishing in Longford Town.

ROSCOMMON
  Works are in place on the N5 Westport/Longford Rd from Frenchpark to Bellangare from 8am to 6pm until Mon 27th May.

TIPPERARY
  The level crossing at Kilsheelan (R706) is closed for works until Tuesday (21st). Diversions operate via the Kilheffernan R/A.

WICKLOW
  A stop/go system operates from 9:30am to 7pm each day on Main St (R761), Bray until Tues 4th June as part of works until Oct.

CITY TRAFFIC


CORK
  No problems for Cork City traffic.
  Evergreen Rd is closed from Summerhill South to Tower St until 1pm for works.

GALWAY
  In Galway City, there are no major delays to report.
  A Park & Ride Service is being piloted in Galway until November at which time it will be reviewed. This service operates from Galway Airport to the Galway Coach Station at the Fairgreen. For more information, see Galway Park & Ride'

LIMERICK
  No delays to report for Limerick City traffic.

WATERFORD
  No delays or incidents to report for Waterford City traffic.

EVENTS


CAVAN
  Cavan will play Armagh in the Ulster Senior Football Championship at Kingspan Breffni Park at 2pm.

GALWAY
  Galway play Mayo in the Connacht Senior Football Championship Quarter Final at Pearse Stadium at 4pm.

WESTMEATH
  Westmeath play Carlow in the Leinster Senior Football Championship at Cusack Park at 3:30pm. Extra traffic than usual can be expected through Mullingar before and after the event.



MEATH
  Racing takes place at Navan Racecourse. The first race is at 2:15pm and the last race is at 5:45pm. Expect delays on the M3 Kells/Clonee Rd and through the town after the event. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.
