MAIN TRAFFIC


FERMANAGH
  The G8 Summit has concluded in Enniskillen however security measures remain in place. Keep in mind that the A46 Enniskillen/Lough Shore Rd will remain closed from the Belleek side of Magheradunbar jct to Carrickreagh until Wed 26th June to facilitate the removal of security fencing.

CORK
  A stop/go system is in place 24/7 in Fermoy on the N72 Fermoy/Mallow Rd until approx. Sept. Works operate between the Hospital and the Richmond Hill/Patrick St jct.

WEXFORD
  From Wed 19th June, a stop/go system will operate on the N30 New Ross/Enniscorthy Rd between Tomduff and Tomnalossett. Works will be in place from 8am to 6pm daily until Wed 10th July approx and delays are to be expected.

CITY TRAFFIC


CORK
  No major delays reported around Cork City .

GALWAY
  No delays or incidents reported in Galway City.
  Lough Atalia Rd closes both ways from Fairgreen jct to the Railway Bridge from 7pm to 6am until Wed 19th June. Then Sat 22nd to Sun 23rd the works will be repeated from 5pm to 11am.
  On Wed 19th and Thurs 20th June, the Galway/Monivea Rd (R339) will close for works from 8am to 6pm each day between Coosaun Cross and Monivea. Diversions will be in place via Athenry.

LIMERICK
  No problems reported for traffic in Limerick City.
  The annual Solemn Novena takes place at the Redemptorist Church on the South Circular Rd until Sat 22nd June. There are ten sessions each day at 7am, 8am, 10am, 11:30am, 1:10pm, 4:30pm, 6pm, 7:30pm, 9pm and 10:30pm. Large numbers are expected to attend each day.

WATERFORD
  No major delays to report for Waterford City traffic.
  Works take place on The Quay between Clock Tower and Exchange St until Fri 19th July.


ROADWORKS


KILKENNY
  A stop/go system will operate on the N78 Kilkenny/Castlecomer Rd from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day until Fri 28th June. Works will move along this stretch of road during this period.

GALWAY
  A slow moving road survey will be carried out along the N59 Moycullen Rd daily until this Friday (21st). Traffic management will be in place although no significant delays are expected.

WESTMEATH
  Hall’s Bridge in Athlone is closed for emergency repair works until 6pm Wed 19th June. Divert via Magazine Rd.

WICKLOW
  A stop/go system will operate on the Enniskerry/Ballybawn Rd between Tinnahinch Bridge and the Powerscourt Estate Entrance from 8am to 5pm daily until Friday (21st).
  Works are in place on Main St (R761) in Bray at the Quinnsborough Rd jct and are part of roadworks continuing until Oct.
  Works take place on the Greystones/Rathnew Rd (R761) from Lott Lane to Knockroe from 9:30am to 4:30pm and then 6:30pm to 9:30pm daily until Thursday (20th).

EVENTS


WEXFORD
  On Wed 19th June, racing will take place at Wexford Racecourse. The first race is at 6pm and the last race is at 9pm. Wexford Racecourse is located on the Newtown Rd just outside Wexford Town. See the 'Events' section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.
